Photographer Roger Neve was born and raised in the south of Holland. At age 19, he flew to New York and convinced Cosmopolitan Magazine to award him an eight-page fashion story to replace his original final exam assignment due back in the Netherlands. Cosmo agreed, thus launching his professional career. By age 21, Roger was enjoying a thriving European career, landing his first campaigns for Lois Jeans (Amsterdam) and Givenchy (Paris). Over the next 10 years he became a world traveler, photographing for clients globally and becoming known for the energy he infuses in his work. When American clients came calling in 1990, he relocated to New York City where he currently resides with his wife and two sons.

Roger treats every job as an adventure, whether he is shooting a model in a hot air balloon over a herd of elephants or racing across the beach chasing his subject to get that perfect shot. He once broke his ankle leaning off a bridge to capture the light in just the right way. He possesses a certain joie de vivre that translates directly to his work. Even on a few hours' sleep he manages to make it all happen with a smile on his face. A devout problem solver, he has talked his way out of many situations to get that perfect shot on the go when it was seemingly impossible. His technical consistency is unparalleled and clients would have a hard time finding a nicer guy to work with.
